Friday Night on Broadway June 13 was discussed. Everyone felt that Deb Kalhammer, chairperson, did a great job.   The theme “Taste of Manito” was a good one.  The Chamber thanks various businesses and individuals who participated.

It was also decided that a schedule of events will be planned by the January annual meeting for the following year.

The board decided to contact the Sesquicentennial committee to see if they would like to plan and sponsor the December 12 Friday Night on Broadway.

A discussion was held concerning Board term limits, increasing the size of Board and contacting all present members to see if they are interested in staying on the board.  Letters will be sent to present board members to determine if they wish to continue serving.  President Mark Meyer will follow up with a phone call. It was decided to amend the bylaws in December to set length of terms for two and four years determined by lottery.  The board welcomed Judy Lacer and Curt Jibben to the board.

Manito Tap would like a ribbon-cutting later in the fall. Little Mak’s ribbon cutting will be July 15.  Gifts and Signs ribbon cutting will be immediately following this meeting.

The next meeting is Friday, August 1 at 7:30 a.m. at Just Like Home.
